Yes, it does get emotional when it hits so close to home. Blessings to your mother. My daughter, who is a KU pharmacy student, just did the Relay For Life last night. She was captain of her team who raised over $2,200 as a team and placed third. Since she was captain she had to stay the entire time 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. To stay awake she walked. Said she walked 9-10 miles. Went to see her today. She can barely move. My father died of cancer so we always donate to the walk.
