they have made it law here, that pets are given the chance to be rescued... it was the most horrible thing ever for these pets and their owners..... I have a friend from N O who drove 9 hours to find a place to stay that would take her pets(I TRIED to get her to come here but she wouldnt)
I am so grateful to everyone who came here to help with the rescues...
