4 months : a little learning sponge !
5 months : getting rebellious... hair is changing...
6 months : don't give up ! He won't run around like a crazy boy for 3 hours straight forever !!
7 months : "the teenage years"... get ready for hell...
Obviously I just made that up !! But it could be true.....My "assignment" for ya'll is : Can YOU give me a down and dirty personality development of yer little ones that might help me out ??? I would love it !!! |
I like your list! You need to write a book! I'm a fairly new Yorkie owner too and haven't run across anything like that. One thing I think I failed on and wish I had done differently, though, is socialization at a young age. Eddie can be skittish and hyper around other dogs, and I've read that that's something they should be taught early if being around other dogs is going to be part of your pup's lifestyle. We're in obedience school now, and he spends much of the class worrying about the other dogs. And I hope to get him into agility, and that's another thing where he's going to have to "chill" around other dogs. I wish I had taken him to more dog parks or gotten him into puppy obedience school so he had a chance to meet other dogs.
