So many people are so hooked on the fact that they were bred to fight that they do not realize that any dog that attacked a handler or any other human, it was put down! They are beautiful and wonderful dogs. And, why is it that the only people that support the "pitbull" breeds are pitbull owners and people that know that dogs are not born mean but can become that way if not properly disiplined. Maybe people that have a problem with pitbulls just are not educated on the matter. |
I am not saying that you can or cant get a pit bull. I really dont care. What I am saying is that I hope that you never have to experience the HEARTACHE of losing a beloved pet or a child or a neighbor pet or child.. You never made it clear that you would not get one until you did not have a small pet either. And maybe people that are "un-educated" about pit bulls are actually smarter than you think. These "dogs" have a bad rap for a reason, not just hype.
