Hey girl~ HUGE congrats to you!!! What you're doing is IMPORTANT in YOUR life and you should def. take part and totally ENJOY the moment (or day or whatever..)...you've EARNED it.
I think I"d make sure to take TONS of photos and then take them with you to the dedication (Im not sure what that is...is it kind of like a baptism?) and tell everyone you knew how much they wanted to BE there and couldn't, so you brought the photos so they could celebrate with you too, LOL
