If it were me - I would have one of you distract them and the other try to tape....pictures may be easier but I think it could be dangerous if they have posted rules about no camera's or something - it really depends on how many people would be there - I personally would try it.... but I don't want to give you bad advise here....and really don't want you to put yourselves in danger.

Your friend is a better judge on how dangerous these people may be - Lots of mills know they're hated but people so I'm sure they're on the lookout for people looking for inside stories and pictures.

Does your phone have a camera ?

I would FIRST call the ASPCA and see if they know this mill and if not report it - see what happens and go from there
