I would find another vet. I have had 4 or 5 dogs altered when they under 5lbs. All of them did just fine. The shelter I use to volunteer at did dogs as soon as they were 8 wks old and many of those weren't much bigger than 4 or 5 lbs, and as far as I know they all did just fine as well. |
