I think that finding another vet is the best option. I don't want to take any chances. While I was upset with what the vet said, my hubby was FURIOUS! He said you can't tell me that if I bring my girl in to get a routine surgery that you are prepared for her not to make it through! That's not okay with us! I sure hope we can find someone new. What are the average ages for a yorkie's first heat? I just want to know how much time we have to look. Thank you for the feedback!
