I don't leave collars on mine because Jake almost choked on his once when he tried to take it off. It scared me to death, so I never leave my boys' collars on when we are at home, unless we are outside. I always put them on when we take them somewhere so that they have ID. But, I use a harness vest for their leashes. Jackson would probably be okay with one on, as he is a little bigger at 6 1/2 lbs. Jake is very tiny, so I'm afraid to leave it on. The way they play and romp around, I can see where one could easily get hurt, so I just don't take the chance. |
