Well what a night! When I got home last evening it was a sad sight. He had been vomitting all day...even water so I rushed him over to emergency. They did x-rays and it looked like there may be an obstruction or some poop roll up in his lower intestines. He is at the vets right now. They took another x-ray and we no longer see anything. Maybe it is passing. So the vet is keeping him until 5pm to put an iv in and get his electrolytes and fluids back to normal. He is also going to give him some barium to see if that helps to flush whatever it could be out. I haven't had any sleep but I hope my baby will be fine. |
