Where are you seeing that it's higher? It's pretty much the same protein % of those in its class (42-44%) - it's a great food. They have a staff nutritionist at Orijen - perhaps you should call them. I've emailed with their nutritionist and have had a great response. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong w/ Orijen - as I said on your other thread about Orijen. Great food, great company, great staff. Love 'em!
