If the discharge is just tinged with color, I wouldn't worry too much. Coco had a small discharge off and on during her pregnancy. I agree if there is any odor, you need to see the vet. Also, your mom may have morning sickness. Coco was sick throughout her entire pregnancy. We were on and off the chicken/rice diet for the entire time.
