So since there are a lot of newbies at the sport (present company included
) I figured I would open this up to the group to use it as a learning experience just in case it happens to someone else.
I just checked the MB-F results from the show we were in over the weekend and to my horror noticed that there was a mistake on the allocation of the points. Granted there were only 2 dogs, 3 bitches and a special showing that day, Diesel was awarded Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex = 1pt. The judge withheld Reserve from the other dog.
So you could imagine how upset I was when I saw MB-F listing the results as the other dog as Winners Dog (given the point) and my dog listed as Winners Withheld/BOW/BOS.
Can anyone recommend the best course of action in this scenario? Should I contact the judge?
