Ok, just went cold turkey. I am trying NV lamb medallions and was advised to also incorporate raw chicken parts twice a week as the medallions won't help with the teeth and breath. I always thought chicken bones were bad for dogs. They may splinter and lodge in their throats. I guess raw chicken bones are ok, or is the chicken bones bad for dogs a total misconception?
My babies were on Canidae, so hopefully the detox phase will be minimal considering Canidae is supposedly a high quality dog food. |
