I rarely need to leave my dogs, and we're pretty much homebodies; but, I'd already decided if I need to leave mine again, I'll try to find the pre-packaged with the LEAST amount of veggies/fruit. This way, their care givers will not be nervous, and they will still be (somewhat) on raw. If I were traveling, or camping, I think I'd take a small cooler, and take along a frozen supply.
