Out of Ruby's 7, there were 3 that were really small and not gaining. Now, when I say "really small" I'm talking about 4 oz. I know that isn't small for a lot of you, but to me it was TINY. Most concerning was their little ribs were sticking out and I couldn't seem to get them to nurse enough even when I removed the other puppies. I used Nutri-Drops and supplemented after nursing. I got the 2 girls back on track but am still working with little purple boy. He goes up and then right back down. But he is only 4 days old, so I know I shouldn't expect too much just yet.
