Your scrawny one definitely turned out to be a beauty!
I met my grandmother on my Mom's side for the first time when I was 20. She had a Yorkie named Penny that I absolutely
fell in LOVE with. Not only was she this adorable teeny tiny little thing - she had SO much spunk & personality -- definitely did not know her size, at all! I soon learned that this was a trait of all Yorkies! I loved Penny so much that my Grandmother named me her Godmother, and she my Goddoggy. It wasn't enough for me, though & since then, I've wanted a Yorkie of my own.
After that point, I got married, had kids of my own & moved overseas with my family (due to my husband's work). Years passed & I still never forgot about my godpuppy Penny, or the desire to have my own Yorkie. As soon as we found out we were coming back to the States, I started doing research & found a breeder. Right after we unpacked all of our stuff & got settled, we welcomed our little Amelia into our home - and it's been bliss ever since!
