I have a dark wood floor that shows everything too. With 4 nine week old puppies, I put a cloth shower curtain liner down and the pee pads on top of that. It keeps the little feet off my floor. I take it up everyday and mop with Nature's Miracle. It only takes a minute and the floors are clean again. Hope this helps.
