Keeping Logan at Clinic All Night After Neuter?? I dropped Logan off this morning for his neutering surgery. The clinic told me they like to keep the dogs overnight so that they can have complete rest. I told the girl at the front desk that I would prefer to bring Logan home. He is crated at home and will have complete rest. Plus, no one is at the clinic after 5:30 in the afternoon, so that means no one is around to make sure Logan is doing OK. AND he won't have anyone to take him outside to potty. At home, we will be here to make sure he's OK while he rests. They also said he probably won't get food until tomorrow morning, but I told them he is prone to hypoglycemia so must eat something today. They made note of that.
When you have taken your Yorke for spaying or neutering, have you had to leave them all night? I don't like this and plan to insist he come home tonight. |
