She pooped in front of the door. Oops, no big deal. I probably didn't hear her scratching at the door. Then I was making dinner on Tuesday and she peed...right next to my feet. On it went, she would poop at least once a day in the house in random spots. Literally centimeters away from my feet! Then yesterday Lexie peed twice in the house in front of the washer/dryer on the tile floor (thank goodness!) and she pooped three times there. So today I blocked off that room thinking she was smelling something. Instead she peed in the house in the kitchen (again on the tile) and pooped IN MY ROOM!!
When I bring her outside she will walk around, play with Beau, chase leaves, etc. then she will just go and sit by the door until I let her in. When I do, she will do...something bad...within minutes!!!!
Nothing has changed; same diet, same schedule with feeding and sleeping, same everything! I kennel train her and she is 7 months old.
WHAT IS GOING ON? |
during around 5-9 months old puppies go through what is called an adolescent stage... a good way to think of it is that they are teenagers now. during this time they may act like they forget things that theyve known forever. they are more stubborn.. or have potty training accidents... or just act up more than they had. the most important part is being consistent with getting her back on track! start all over like you did when first potty training her.. which means watching her constently.. taking her out regularly and praising her when she does it right. be patient and good luck!
