I'm glad you and your furbaby are ok even though you have suffered some injuries yourself. Where was the dogs owner? Were they anywhere around? This is so scarey. My daughter has a lil 5 1/2 month old chihushus and she takes him out to the lake and at a park here and walks with him. She picks him up as well when any dogs on or off leash come around her and Luke, but what happened to you could happen to my daughter or anyone else. It makes me so angry that people don't keep their furbabies on leashes. If it were me, I'd turn the owner in if you know who the dog belongs to, the next person that this dog does this to may not be so lucky.
