Tucker is almost 8 months. He too is close to being housebroken. He doesn't go anywhere and everywhere like he used to, but when he does need to go, he won't wait long. I've found that taking him out every two hours or so keeps him from going in the house. I don't have to keep as close an eye on him as I used to, but when I get really busy, I put him in his crate to make sure he doesn't have an accident. He had an xpen, But I've done away with that. It had it's time and place when he was a small puppy and couldn't hold it at all. But now I've found the crate to be the best helper in really housebreaking him. Good Luck! |
