 update
So yesterday we took Louie to his 3rd appointment since my last post. After being told he possibly had scabies but they couldnt find scabies...he was treated for it anyways. Although yesterday we had a breakthrough, the doctor did another scraping and he said he is 100 percent positive Louis has a demodetic mite. The doctor explained this is easily cured in 3 months times and MUCh better news than scabies or allergies :-) He said he'd never seen a case of demodetic mites in a yorkie in his 30 yrs of practicing. Im soo..ooo relieved!!!! He said in 3 months times, Louie should be his old self again...hair and skin :-) Thanks so much for the help and concerns. |
