What about using Advantage? They have a 10lbs and under dose. So far I've liked Advantage the best out if it, frontline, ProMeris, and Revolution. It's a much smaller amount of liquid and doesn't leave a residue like frontline and proMeris do. And it's worked really well for me so far too. I usually have to apply it every three weeks though since I bath once a week
