I highly recommend the raw for animals with allergies. Lacy doesn't have allergies but has been eating raw for two years with great results. I do have an older cat that has had chronic allergies her whole life and no foods helped...she lost a lot of hair and was constantly itchy and had scabs from scratching. She did a little better when I tried the NV Instinct canned in rabbit but still itchy. I finally switched her to the NV raw rabbit and she has done AMAZING on it. Hardly ever scratches now and hair has completely grown back. She looks better than ever!!
NV raw is grain-free and comes in several protein sources. You could try lamb, venison, or rabbit. Also, it has a lot of moisture so it is so much better for them than feeding kibble. My babies don't have to drink much at all since they eat raw. They get a lot of their water intake from their food. It's great!
