Wow, I've never heard of a dog having open heart surgery. I hope things go well for you and Scooter. That sounds pretty stressful to me.

At least your breeder will stand behind her dogs. That is one good thing - even though it wouldn't "replace" Scooter. My breeder would not make good on her health guarantee - Sure glad yours is more ethical.
