Yeah, that was my plan, too. Then this situation came up. If he makes it through this surgery I would hate to put his through anesthesia again so soon. We are also getting a female soon. We were suppose to pick her up on the 28th but that is the week of Scooter's surgery. I talked to the breeder today and she will hold the girl for an extra week or so, so we can get Scooter home and settled first. Since he is older than the girl by 3 months, I had hoped to get him neutered first. She will definately have to be spayed before her first heat.
