harnessess and collars imo are not safe to be left on the Yorkie's without supervision.
Schatzie wears her harness only when we are out and about but other members mention they leave the collars/harnessess on constantly. It's personal choice and whatever you feel comfortable with.
In regards to identification you can microchip them. I've never been comfortable leaving Schatzie outside alone as Im afraid something will harm her. Maybe there is a better time you can take Deegan outside when you can be with him to ease your nervousness. This way he stays safe and out of dangers way.
