[Deegan's mom]

I was just wondering how many of you keep collars on your little ones. I have been told not to keep a collar on a dog if you are not supervising them, such as when he is outside playing (while you are in), and when they are in their crate or x-pen in case they hang themselves.

I usually let Deegan out to play by himself while I get ready for work in the mornings, but I am nervous because, should anything happen, like him slipping through the fence or what not, he won't have any identification on him.

I would like for him to wear a collar with a small tag with our phone number on it, but I am scared. Do you guys have your babies wearing collars with tags on them in a situation like that or not?
