To answer your questions, at nine weeks you should start with getting him used to having his head brushed and messed with. If he's got enough hair, the best thing to do is to start with making a little topknot with a latex grooming band to get him used to the feel of it before adding a bow. I use 1/4" bands. If you get them too big, you'll have to wrap them too many times. The best size bow to start with would be a little 3/8" bow. |
