I wish it wasn't this way, but I think we all go through it @some point in our lives. I do agree to try and talk things over with her. Let her know how you are feeling. Maybe she is jealous, wants to prove something with starting new friends in her life, you never know. She may not admit it, but at least you are trying to mend your long friendship. Most often, no one says anything & you drift further apart.
