Keep your chin up! It sounds to me like you're a young woman who is caring and that's the reason you keep questioning others in your life. Try not to beat yourself up about what you can't change in others. I've listened to my daughter with the same story about one of her friends. She went through similiar experiences too. Sometimes, it's just who they are & they don't get it.
You should be so proud of who you've become and the past just makes you a better person for knowing what you really want!
