I am sorry to hear that your vet is bascially just in it for the money. I think that you are right ask the pet food store for a recommendation and see how it goes from there. But like i said a lot of ppl here feed different types of food but the majority agree that foods like royal canine and eukanuba iams pedigree arent that great for put babies. But like i said the store is giving you really great recommendations. Remember this a natural pet Food Store and not a regular pet food store that just stacks the food in the shelf and have no knowledge of what they are providing IMO. There is a difference and they actually listen to you and try to help you and from what i can see they have done just that.
