I agree.
Sadly, I believe that teachers get such little respect. There are so many objectives, standards, and testing that teachers
must have children complete. It's not optional. It's not up to the teachers.
But back to the OP, I would also be upset that the problem wasn't caught earlier. Hopefully you can work with the teacher and address the issue.
