I plan to provide extra supervision while they are playing together because the puppy may not be aware of his own strength at first. He is only 7 weeks old and weighs more than my yorkie!! I heard that bringing in a low-energy dog with a high energy dog that it should work with the proper training. I'm a little nervous because my yorkie has some awful habits that I have been trying to break. I don't want my yorkie to be a bad influence and ruin my sister's chance of having a "balanced dog". We are working together on bringing this fur kid into our family but I absolutely don't want a disaster on my part.
