I've told this story before but I think you will like what I have to say. My shih tzu was two when we brought Ivan home. At 3 months he weighted three times more than she did but Cassie was the leader of the pack from the get go. Since he was a puppy he was used to an adult dog bossing him around I guess but Cassie still wears the pants in the family at a delicate 12lbs while Ivan is 120lbs. Just be prepared for the dane to get bit a few times. He will need it if he is going to learn to respect your yorkie. |
