Hi. The thing I would be concerned about for one is the size difference. Even if they are both sweet together, just simple playing could hurt your yorkie. The other issue is that if your Yorkie is alpha like you say, then he may go after the Dane and how much do you think the Dane will take until he snaps back? I read on here a month or so back about a lab snapping and grabbing the Yorkie. Even a love bite can do some serious damage. I know that others may not agree with me, but I honestly do not think that larger breed dogs and little breeds mix well. There are exceptions to the rule, but is it something you want to test and take a chance with? That's really something you have to ask yourself. Good luck. Elaine |
