I wanted to comment that many knowledgeable, experienced breeders have left YT or refused to comment in this forum any longer because they were tired of being called rude, and because they didn't feel like anyone took their good advice anyway. So while this thread is saying that people are leaving or afraid to post for fear of people being rude to them, know that plenty of great breeders have left because they are frustrated with many of the people breeding and lack of willingness to learn.

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
