You know, Holly is improving but it is a very slow process. When I read the word "fragile" to discribe, Holly, it means exactly that...she is in a very fragile condition. The steriod makes them jumpy, Vitamin K has not effect other than building up the clotting of the blood. I would inject Sophie on a schedule to save her visits to the vet.

At some point, they go down hill at a slow pace, however, Holly sounds like she is striving to recover.

Please remember the food for Holly is not a complete diet for your other pups. Make sure to add protein to their diet, or they will be lacking.

The only solution I can see is to separate her when they are eating. Let them finish & clean up the bowls.

This is a tough time, but if she is strong enough, Holly will remain wit you for many years.
