Funny...sorta....
Today I noticed there were about thirty or forty honey bees swarming on my back porch and all around the grated roof vents along the edge. Upon further observance, I saw them going into the holes by the two light fixtures where we took the covers off. We are planning to put two fans there.
This means that the queen bee is already in the attic.
So I took some screen and duct tape and covered those fixture areas. Hoping this will prevent them from coming and going...perhaps the hive will die off. So sorry to do that but they will be getting in the house from the attic. No beekeeper is going to go into my attic full of bees.
I just thought this pretty ironic since this discussion just recently took place.
