Hi and congrats on your decision. You don't say where you are located. The kind of winter weather you have where you live is a factor you should consider. I got Bo as a Christmas present for my children in 2004. Last winter for us was particlarly harsh. It was bitter cold and windy a lot and we had a huge snowstorm. Bo was still very tiny at that time and I hated to have to take him out. Even with a sweater on he just shivered and shivered. I will never get another puppy for Christmas as long as we live here. Our winters are just too hard on a tiny yorkie puppy. It you live in a climate that has mild winters, then of course this won't be an issue. Just food for thought.
