Next month i will be going away with a girlfriend on vacation for a week. The husband will be home with the dogs.

So here's my dilemma:

Tinker is a rescue and after 1 year and 4 months, I'm still the only person in the world he trusts.

He uses the doggy door, so there's no problem with him going outside to do his business. BUT he's in full coat and it took so long to get him to where he is today, I really don't want to have to cut it. And even though his hair doesn't matt like my maltese would, after a week of no brushing...... I don't know.....

Is there a product or something out there to make the hair extra silky and slippery or something? I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions - other than getting his hair cut short?
