My Alyssa is obsessed with plastic drinking bottles, too. She only wants them if they are empty. Alyssa had rather have a plastic bottle than any toy available. She will continually play with it and chew it until it is triangular. Sometimes she plays with it so much and chews on it so much that it fall into pieces. I have seen her play with a plastic bottle for 4 to 5 hours ...nonstop. She loves those things.
