Haven't ever really had to purchase carpeting yet. Everywhere we've moved already had decent looking carpeting in already. I won't tell you's how old are carpet is now, but it's really............old.  |
I have a light color berber and haven't had ANY problems with their nails. As far as cleaning it for pee or poo stains, I use Capture carpet cleaner sold at Lowes' or Home Depot. It is awesome for that. You spray a light mist...sprinkle this powder on the stain...let it set for 30 minutes, the powder actually lifts the stain out and you have a yellow powder sitting there. Vacumn and voila!!! Stains gone! Kinda like drycleaning for carpets.
