My Addison's nails had gotten long over the winter and now we are almost finished getting them back to "normal" I take her every other week and have them clipped by a wonderful groomer! Usually a nail trim is a walk in thing no apointment needed. I just had to make it a point to remember that every saturady morning for a few weeks then every other we had to get up and go! After we finish we go walk on a jog path at a nature trail to wear them down a little more! It can be fixed it just takes some time! Oh and a nail trim is very inexpensive, just a few dollars. Just let the groomer or tech know why you guys are needing the trim so they dont cut too deep!
