Shelby & Seymour's groomer does a nail trim for us. She takes a very small tip off....... and there is not any bleeding. It can happen that the nail gets cut too short (we haven't had this) and they use a syptic solution or powder to keep the nail from bleeding. It is important that if they go too deep, that the bleeding is stopped.
I would think that your vet or groomer (but, I believe that you do your own grooming, right?) would be a good candidate to trim her nails. Good Luck to you!!!
