As we will get our new yorkie puppy in a short while, I am concerned about the best food. We are worried with the awful scare last year with the pet food supplier/s that killed so many dear pets. Am I better to buy only from the vet or can I buy quality, Safe food from a pet store. Also with such a tiny puppy, what treats and sizes are appropriate for a little one? We are so excited and are still throwing names out there. I went to petland to buy some supplies yesterday but didn't buy anything but a book. The bowls all looked so big, the harness and leash as well. We are in for a long learning curve in the weeks to come and any suggestions, and valuable would be greatly appreciated!
