I see someone lost their baby New Years Eve of all days. I am so sorry to see that. I lost two dogs in 07 also. I also lost favorite doggie clients. Yes, I love them as if they really are my own. Even tho I am a groomer, I think if you can groom your dogs yourself, that is fine. There are some good videos and books out there. I think a good table is important, and professional equipment. A pair or two of scissors and a good clipper. Keep those nails trimmed. Anal glands? I personally feel it is a vet job. If you don't start it they don't need it as often. IMO. Little dogs do sometimes need it more than large dogs. My 3yr old Min Schnauzer has never had them expressed and does not show a need to yet. Yorkie people really love their little kids. |
