Animal Smiley 019 Thanks For Such A Friendly Welcome

I have been grooming for many years. Hope to retire in a few. Trimming under the tail. I use a Romani ClipperVac. It keep-s the blades cool with suction. W/ or without CV I would say use a #10 and I clip holding tail up and clip gently upward. Coat handler has a non greasy cream called "Skin Works" that helps keep skin from friction burn. Getting a groomer to listen to your wants is hard. Ask them to write it down and repeat back your desires. Nicely say Pleeeeeze, this is how I want it. A nice tip encourages a groomer to want to please lol. Puppy trim: I use a #30 under Wahl metal snap on combs. I go against the grain but I have suction with a Laube Ivac attached to ClipperVac. Remember, I have expensive professional equipment. I also recommend a small High velocity dryer. Open nozzle. Long fur can tangle with air flow. Fur should be dried however or it can tangle even more. I also Use Les Pooch de mat brush for getting out snarles. There is NO substitute for frequent brushing........but you alll know that. The earlier a pup learns grooming manners the better.
