True, it is the date they were registered in the books..BUT it has nothing to do with producing a litter. All dogs are entered in the "Stud" records..male and female, but all dogs do not reproduce, they still retain a number all to themselves.
I have a bitch who is 2 1/2 yrs old, but her date of recording in the book is 02/08..she produced her litter first 10/07...confusing to people I know. |
